A place for adaptations
This section will explore how films, dramas, animation, and other screen stories draw on folklore. Each article should distinguish the older source tradition from the choices of a particular adaptation.

Future features will identify the original motif, explain what an adaptation changes, and separate plot interpretation from historical or cultural claims. Articles will carry spoiler notices where appropriate.
